Here are samples of digital art, most begun as sketches, then put into the computer to create graphics for websites and promotional items such as posters and bookmarks.

Drasil, the embodiment of "nature spirits" for my sixth book, Among the Ancients, a fantasy thriller. This image was first sketched, then painted in Photoshop.

Kynly of Varlin

The above image, as well as the sunset Manipulated Evil poster are examples of my art combining actual photographs with digital art.  In both graphics, the sky is from images I snapped from my childhood home. The tree to the left and behind Kynly I pulled from a picture taken last summer during a nature hike.  The characters were first sketched, then scanned and painted in Photo Shop.  I'm currently studying realism in art to improve on character details and such.
